I own a Mac computer and I'm wondering if I can use this machine? I also am interested to know if I can use any shape or file on my computer?
Is this compatible with a Mac computer?

It is not directly compatible with a MAC computer. You can use it on a MAC running a windows emulator, and windows program. We do have a few customers doing this.
You can use any shape or file on your computer as long as it is a format that the KNK program will open, such as EPS, PDF, AI, DXF, and many many more! IF it's just an image graphic (raster image) then you will have to create the cut lines from that image, either using the manual tools or using the autotrace features, all of which are discussed and demonstrated in the manual!

Hi there,
We actually have a new product that is going to be available in the next few days. It's an application that will allow you to cut directly from Mac without the use of a virtual PC application. It is a bridge program, which means you would need to use an application like Illustrator or Inkscape to design.

Is the bridge program available yet? If so where can I get it?

This is the "New Product" that Chad speaks of in a previous post? Has Flexistarter not been out for awhile now? Just curious!

Adding the Klic-N-Kut driver to the software is what it makes it a "new product." :)

I clicked on the link and it takes me to the software but it doesn't say if it is Mac Compatible. When i look up FlexiStarter in a search. There is a specific version for mac that costs 20$ more from USCutters website. It's called Flexi8Mac.
Is this software that you linked the correct one for Mac. Also, is this compatible with Illustrator CS5?Posted 1 month ago # -
This version is ONLY for the Mac. Otherwise we encourage our KNK customers to use KNK Studio that comes with our machines.
I don't know about the compatibility issue. Try sending an email to sales@scrapbookdiecutter.com but ALSO cc my email so that I can follow up and make sure they receive it and respond back to you. I'm at smccauley45@cox.net.Posted 1 month ago # -
Will registration for cutting out printed material work with designs done in illustrator and printed from a Mac? Are there specifications for the registration marks regarding designs (e.g. crop marks on the outer edges of the page/ design)?

As far as I know, you must be using KNK Studio for any print and cut applications because it has the process programmed into the software.

I contacted Accugraphic this morning and that is correct... you must be using KNK Studio in order to do a print and cut using the laser light or alignment pin.
